This month, we have the Gazette Interview with Spark and Kana:
1) How did you find Jediism?
- As I said for millions of times I do not know. It seams Jediism found me. It was somewhere in the may of the last year and I was sitting in the class on my university, class that was so boring so instead of listening I went on the internet. And somehow I found this site of Jedi Religion, started to read and saw that this is all I was looking for. Because I was looking for a religion, philosophy similar to my beliefs. After a while I decided to join. And here I am.
2) What piqued your interest and made you decide you wanted to Register and join?
As I said I was looking for those similar to me. It is hard to be alone in something, not to be able to share your believes with someone who will understand, agree with them. And in Jediism I found nothing negative, it is religion for the soul. Here there is no racism, no kind of discrimination, everyone has an opened mind and I was drown by that the most.
3) What does being a Jedi/Jedi Knight mean to you?
To live by what I believe, what I say, to follow the Light completely, not just to pretend to do it. It means to respect life, others, world, to learn, and to seek for something better.
4) Is there any "big insight" that has occurred to you since you began to study Jediism?
I would not say big, but there have been many changes. I want to learn, to improve myself and that wish is leading me, saying that nothing is impossible. Now it is easier to discuss things with others without anger, to accept other peoples opinions. I can focus on what I am doing and most important I am happy every day, have peace inside, and love for this world. I know very well that there are things that will try to stop me on my path, that will test me as I go on, but as I know what I follow there is nothing that can stop me. It seems to me that I have improved things that were already good, and fixed my mistakes, but still know that my learning will never end.
5) What are some of your other interests, hobbies etc?
Hmm writing that takes most of my time, I have such imagination that does not give me peace. Sometimes I paint, and most of the time I just enjoy life. I love nature around me and without it I would feel like in a prison. Ah yes, reading is my hobby as well ( but someone may ask what kind of hobby is that ). As most of you know that I am crazy for ancient Egypt, love butterflies etc. interests about life I would like to go to some mission in the world, to do something. I do not find anything in just going to work every day, get my money, that does not fulfil me.
6) What advice or words of wisdom would you have for someone starting out on the Jedi path?
I do not give advices as I cannot see all the aspects of the future, as I do not know everything and cannot know what would be the best. But for all those who are joining what I would say is dont give up no matter how hard it may seem in the beginning. Believe, be happy. All it takes is not to open your heart for anger, fear, hate and despair no matter what, because after the rain the Sun will shine. It is easier to let go but what will that bring to you and to others? If you have any problem, talk, no-one will deny you help. I made that mistake once and realize how wrong I was not calling someone for help, just because I made some picture in my head.
Kana
Thank you Kana and Spark for the great interview this month.
